Rates

The initial appointment is $275 for a 60-minute intake. Subsequent appointments are $275 for 50-minute follow-ups.

Fees

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.  Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy and medication management services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy and and medication management services.  You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.  Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.  For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Insurance

I am an out-of-network provider for all insurance carriers. If your plan has out-of-network benefits and you choose to use those benefits, I will give you a receipt to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Insurance that includes out-of-network benefits often reimburses 20-90% of fees. I encourage all clients to contact their insurance so that you can fully understand the specific benefits your plan offers. When calling it will be helpful to ask if you have out-of-network benefits, any deductible for out-of-network benefits you must meet, and the dollar reimbursement amount for the codes that will be billed.

  • 30 Minute Individual Psychotherapy – 90832
  • 45 Minute individual Psychotherapy – 90834
  • Group Psychotherapy – 90853

To help make filing for reimbursement easier and faster, I have paid for a subscription so my clients can use Reimbursify (www.reimbursify.com) for free.

Payment

I accept cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment. Payment is due at the time of service.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel an appointment, please do so 48 hours in advance. You will be expected to pay the full session fee for missed appointments that are not cancelled within 48 hours of the appointment. This is necessary because a time commitment is made to you and is held exclusively for you.
